Saltisford left behind and a small injury

Here we are, moored in the only shoreside mooring available at Saltisford Canal Centre. We like it in this leafy bit of Warwick, having been here a number of times over the years. So much work has been done since our first visit, with fabulous landscaping and enhanced moorer services. A lovely place to be.

We set out for Cape Locks just after noon. All was well until Elizabeth had a bit of a slip when boarding after the usual swap of lock paddle for tiller with Pete. One foot between the boat and lock wall and the other twisted on top was only right for one made of elastic. No breaks or strains, just some beautifully developed bruises and a sore knee. Off we went after the appropriate length of time for panic, rest, and brilliant laughter!

We're now moored in Radford Semele, another happy haunt. We all walked to the White Horse, with Elizabeth helped by our elegant, just in case, walking stick.

Good day!
